[00:00:00] Speaker A: Assalamu alaikum sir. [00:00:01] Speaker B: Walaikum assalam. [00:00:02] Speaker A: It's so good to see you or so good to have you here at our studio. [00:00:30] Speaker B: Community Pakistani community Pakistan. I'm really really indebted to my country for that well established community or Bhat Pariliki community or 9 to 5 jobs Pakistan missions abroad covered mission covered that is not 9 to 5 that is throughout the day, throughout the night you are available and this is what my mission would be. I've only heard good things about them which is a matter of again great, great satisfaction for me to be brutally honest with you or community cross section although it was a. I mean connecting with the, with the people a proper specific one by one meeting or equally represent. [00:05:06] Speaker A: Or western Canada. [00:05:23] Speaker B: I'm really happy to note that Trade Development Authority of Pakistan or Ministry of Commerce cross section across the 360 degrees Special Investment facilitation. It's a land of opportunities let's say for that matter US saturated points super saturated banana potential. So looking forward to working on that building on that. Having said that I told you. [00:08:18] Speaker A: Digital diplomacy public engagement, soft power image incorporate digital diplomacy. [00:08:36] Speaker B: Although one has to admit, let's put it more mildly this way this would probably go on various you know, forums in addition to being broadcast live on the on the wavelengths of your FM channel. So inshallah, public outreach, community outreach. Mary Matlab one of my prime considerations or is outreach digital platforms purely government decision. Having said that within the limited financial and other, you know wherewithal means as a diplomats we are not supposed to be just one. We have to be multi dimensional dimensional Passport and visa Immigration and passports Control authority mandate Pakistan. You are thrown at the deep end and you learn by you know, by doing learning by doing Alhamdulillah. After a span of 20 years you are mature enough and you have gone through so many trainings that whether it's trade or whether it's defense or whether it's any other field which you have been mandated to promote or to look after Alhamdulillah Pakistani diplomats are second to none in that and inshallah we will do our best. I've been told that they commissioned some studies through internship programs for our bright students. Even locals Mukhtalif University and I think that's a very very good idea. Let's say commerce and trade. That's a requirement I think in certain universities. Market research or market a informed opinion informed recommendation. Not that we can't do it ourselves. You go through, you sift it through your own lens of experience and then recommend it to Alhamdulillah. Those reports are then I mean they do I mean bear some some weight. [00:11:53] Speaker A: Canada itself climate change or your environment related issues consciousness Canada Corporation Pakistan Key Canada Western Canada cooperation collaboration. [00:12:32] Speaker B: They are becoming a reality or ASI reality Carbon footprint back home flooding Paris unfortunately or definitely government priorities may definitely have budget policy. So this is one of the areas which is a very very critical and very important aspect. It only leads to more hatred towards you it only leads to more lack of losing your friends around or cultural diplomacy public outreach There is a has been a program in the works probably Arif Luhar Sabna Hanewale Chandinomi probably this month. So that is also going to be I mean we would support that soft diplomacy culture. [00:15:24] Speaker A: System first point of contact first point of contact. [00:15:56] Speaker B: Pakistani students what I want to say escape established is not the appropriate I mean Allah for the appropriate word or Jahata Gunke first point of contact Kataluki Merapna number available here it's all all there on all our you know official channels. Still I make it make it a point since I've been here although vice which is for all my compatriots here in in Vancouver and Western Canada in general so available I am there as first point of contact especially in emergent or difficult situation. So we are there for you availability wise we will make it a point make sure that we are there for you. We listen to your issues and we try our utmost to bring it to the knowledge of the host authorities. [00:18:15] Speaker A: Vibrant hair health services services frequently asked questions FAQs understandable or accessible. [00:21:06] Speaker B: Or frequently asked questions. [00:21:33] Speaker A: Being a new constable General for Pakistan for Western Canada. [00:21:58] Speaker B: Even if you are a garbage collector or you are a professor or dean in the faculty of Sciences or wherever. The first ever first ever is a matter of great pride for us Pakistanis. Yeah. Or at the cost of being sounding cliched. [00:23:23] Speaker A: Pakistani Canadian. [00:23:27] Speaker B: So that is my my humble message to all my. [00:23:33] Speaker A: Conversations or as a community South Asian diaspora or Pakistan or Canada accessibility. So inshallah. [00:24:29] Speaker B: Ji, once again many many thanks to you for inviting me over to your office. Through your channel I've been able to reach out to more than what I would have reached generally speaking.
